What is our Day Service
Our Day Service caters for individuals living at home who come into our Day Centre for 1 or 2 days a week. Anyone living in the community who has a physical or sensory disability can apply for a place in our Day Centre.
Day Centre Services
What do we do
An Individual Plan is established with each service user tailored to their own individual needs, requirements and preferences. While the emphasis is not on training, people can enjoy the activities in the centre for recreational purposes in a relaxed setting. Programmes are designed to empower participants to develop their own skills and promote independence of living.
Activities
Our Service Users can take part in a range of activities including:

Ÿ
Pottery in our state of the art pottery room,
Ÿ
Cookery in our fully accessible training kitchen,
Ÿ
Crafts, Art and Computer Studies in our large, bright activity room.

In addition we work with the VEC and the Disability Education Network and through them we also hold classes in Yoga, Art, Music and Beauty Therapy.
