To facilitate the improvement and expansion of our services construction is underway on our new service centre which will be located adjacent to Skehard Road in Blackrock, Cork. The new facility will be operational in early 2009 and will allow us to develop and enhance our existing services for people with disabilities. The building will provide a Day Activation service in one wing, including a computer room, pottery room and training kitchen specifically designed to meet the needs of people who use wheelchairs. The second wing of the building provides a range of residential accommodation which is fully wheel chair accessible, including ensuite “wet rooms” and height adjustable kitchen work tops.
